Varsity Legion
Finishes 3rd in State
|
|
The varsity
Merchants finished a great season with 3rd place in the American Legion
state tournament. After beating Nixa to win the Zone Tournament on a
walk off hit by Chase Briscoe, Hillcrest traveled to Sedalia to play in
the state tournament. The Merchants beat Fike Post 499 in the opening
round but fell to eventual champion Festus before losing agian to
Washington Post 218.
